Local community commitments

Tree planting

The London Clinic has worked closely with Westminster Council, Howard de Walden Estates, private medical insurance organisations and the local community.  Together they aim to

ensure this prestigious new development demonstrates both a commitment to the future of healthcare in the neighbourhood, as well as maintaining visual links with the renowned heritage of
the area.

During construction of this facility, we’ve been committed to preserving and protecting Harley Street’s green surroundings and ensuring it remains as pleasant as possible for local residents, medical professionals and their patients. We are delighted to have made a donation of £150,000 to Westminster Council to go towards a number of community improvements which include the 'upgrading' of local gardens and the provision of CCTV in Marylebone High Street.

Tree Planting

A large portion of this donation has gone towards the purchase and planting of 48 ‘Chanticleer Pear’ trees along Harley Street. This is the first time in Harley Street’s 300 year history that it has been lined with trees. We were proud to welcome the Duchess of Devonshire and the Lord Mayor of Westminster to plant the last of these trees in a ceremony held outside The London Clinic in March.
