World-Renowned Liver Specialist Joins The London Clinic

Clinic is delighted to announce that one of the country’s leading
experts in clinical liver disease and research, Professor Roger
Williams, CBE (MD, FRCP, FRCS, FRCPE, FRACP, FmedSci, FRCPI (Hon),
FACP (Hon)) has joined the hospital in a newly created role as
Clinical Director of the Liver Centre. Professor Williams will
combine his role at the Clinic with his position as Professor of
Hepatology and Director of the Institute of Hepatology at the Royal
Free and University College Medical School.
Patients at the London Clinic will benefit from Professor Williams’
lifetime commitment to hepatology, with a career marked not only by
many awards, but also Presidencies of both the British and European
Associations for the Study of the Liver. Professor Williams is
famed internationally and nationally for his pioneering work in
liver transplantation and acute liver failure.
